MK Effie Eitam (NU/NRP) said Wednesday that the ransom deal with Hizbullah was a result of weakness, most of which rests with the country's leadership: "The Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, the way the residents of the North are treated, the abandonment of the South, the lack of determination to be victorious and defeat the enemy in this wild neighborhood we live in."
The media, Eitam said, "not only did not report objectively but enlisted itself completely to this campaign. It has been a long time since we saw media that was so enlisted for what it believed was the right thing to do."
