MK Zehava Gal-On of the ultra-leftist Meretz party called upon the government ministers "to repudiate their Cosa Nostra techniques and inform Minister Friedmann that they intend to vote in the government session against his proposal to establish a prejudiced committee for investigating the wiretaps in the Chaim Ramon case."
Gal-On said the committee's real purpose was to "settle scores" with the law enforcement establishment.
"Cosa Nostra" is another term for the Sicilian mafia.
