Russia has become the largest oil producer in the world, replacing Saudi Arabia, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA). The United States is the third-largest producer, followed by Iran and China,

Russia produces 9.5 million barrels a day, 300,000 more than Saudi Arabia. The Gulf states Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are among the top 10 producers.
