An Arab man wounded in a mortar shell attack on Wednesday has been transferred to an Israeli hospital, IDF officials said Thursday. The man was wounded in a terrorist attack on the Nahal Oz fuel terminal. Terrorists fired a mortar shell at the terminal, but the shell fell short, landing within Gaza.
Terrorists frequently attack Gaza crossings, and several attacks on the Nahal Oz terminal and Erez crossing have led to delays in the transfer of fuel and food aid to Gaza residents. IDF Colonel Nir Press, who coordinates shipments to Gaza, said Wednesday that Gaza terrorists’ primary victims are Gaza civilians.
