The Sufa Crossing with Gaza was closed Thursday morning in the wake of a terrorist attack on the Erez Crossing. No IDF soldiers were hurt in the early-morning attempted truck bombing at the crossing, where humanitarian supplies are brought into the region.
IDF soldiers exchanged gunfire with Palestinian Authority terrorists at both the Erez and Sufa Crossings after the bombing, reported Voice of Israel government radio. The Sufa Crossing is another conduit through which humanitarian supplies are shipped to Palestinian Authority residents in Gaza.
