Former residents of the Jewish communities in Gaza, evicted from their homes in 2005, will appear in court Wednesday in a lawsuit they filed against the Director of the Prime Minister's Office.

The lawsuit is due to broken promises that their communities would be reestablished in the Lachish region. Residents say that the latest outrage is the arbitrary decision to raise the cost of the plots by hundreds of thousands of shekels per family.

The lawsuit, to be heard by the Supreme Court, targets the Prime Minister's Office and the Disengagement Authority.
