Senior Rabbis to Bush: Don't Meet With Olmert
(IsraelNN.com) A group of senior Israeli rabbis have called on US President George W. Bush to boycott Prime Minister Olmert during his upcoming visit to Jerusalem, saying Olmert is "suspected of criminal activity, an individual who would sell out his people in order to avoid prosecution."
The group, which includes Kiryat Arba Chief Rabbi Dov Lior, Tzfat Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu and others, also said Bush has displayed incredible chutzpah for demanding Israel surrender territory to terrorists while at the same time claiming to fight an international war on terrorism.
