Police Save Flag-Waver from Angry Anti-State Protest

Police rescued a flag-waving man in Shabbat Square, in Jerusalem, Wednesday morning when anti-Zionist protestors responded aggressively to him. Extra policemen were in the area in expectation of violence, and they used tear gas to disperse the protestors.

In an entirely unrelated incident not involving any protest, in Tel Aviv, a pre-school girl suffered burns on most of her body when she was injured by a candle that was part of ceremonies marking Remembrance Day for Fallen Soldiers and Terror Victims. Her condition is stable, but she suffered serious burns. Police are investigating the kindergarten teacher to determine if she was guilty of being responsible for the incident.
