(IsraelNN.com) Democratic presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama lost his cool Monday when reporters pressed him to comment on former American President Jimmy Carter's meeting with Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal in Damascus. "Why can't I just eat my waffle?" he said while eating his breakfast, according to MSNBC. The reporter asked him a second time, and Sen. Obama again replied, "Just let me eat my waffle."

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton pounced on Sen. Obama's frustration. "I know he spent all day yesterday complaining about the hard questions he was asked," she commented. "But being asked tough questions in a debate is nothing like the pressures you face inside the White House….I'm with [former President] Harry Truman on this. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen."

Pennsylvania voters cast ballots Tuesday in the state's primaries, which Sen. Clinton is favored to win.
