A large memorial rally for the eight Merkaz HaRav yeshiva students, murdered last month by an Israeli Arab terrorist, will be held at the Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. (9:30 a.m. EDT). Former Chief Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu and leading rabbis of the yeshiva will speak and singers will perform at the event, sponsored by the municipality of Jerusalem.
The youth were gunned down by a Jerusalem Arab resident who worked as a driver for the yeshiva. He fired nearly 200 bullets until a yeshiva graduate and an IDF officer in the area shot and killed him.
