(IsraelNN.com) Public Security Minister Avi Dichter told National Union Knesset Member Zevulun Orlev Wednesday that there is no basis to the report on Channel One television that students of the Merkaz HaRav yeshiva are planning to revenge the murder of eight teenagers last Thursday. Neither the police nor intelligence officials (Shabak) are aware of the alleged plot, MK Orlev said he was told.

However, Voice of Israel government radio's mid-day anchorwoman Estie Peres repeated her repeated allegation of national religious incitement prior to the murder of Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin. She asked Yesha Rabbi Elyakim Levanon, "What about the rabbis who are inciting?" referring to several posters in Jerusalem that called for revenge.

The rabbi said he does not know who signed the posters and that he "still is looking for the rabbis who allegedly called for incitement" prior to the assassination of Rabin.
