The enemy in Gaza fired 17 rockets (dubbed "Kassams") at civilians in Sderot and the western Negev desert Friday.
At least one rocket hit Sderot, while other hit the southern industrial area of Ashkelon and greenhouses in a moshav, causing light damage. Most other rockets hit open spaces and caused no physical damage.
Reports are still coming in and no final tally of the rockets and the damage done is available.
