(IsraelNN.com) The government's Israel Project has launched a public relations campaign in the Washington, D.C. area to focus on the Kassam rocket attacks against Israel. Thirty-second advertisements are running on major television networks in an effort to balance the widespread media coverage that has concentrated on the Israeli closures of the crossings to Gaza without mentioning that they were instituted because of constant rocket attacks.

The advertising campaign will continue through next Tuesday.
