Dead Terrorist was in Touch with Hizbullah (IsraelNN.com) Ahmed Sanakra, who was picked off by soldiers from the elite Duvdevan unit in the neighborhood of Balata Friday, had been in touch with Hizbullah in Lebanon, the IDF told Haaretz. The soldiers had come to Balata in order to arrest four other wanted men, and saw through the window that Sanakra was with them and that he was armed. They shot him dead. Brig. Gen. Noam Tibon, the commander of IDF forces in Judea and Samaria, met the Duvdevan soldiers after the operation. He noted that this was the second senior terrorist killed by the unit in the last 48 hours.
