Cairo Rages Over Claim Soldiers Were Executed in 1967

The Egyptian parliament has issued a call to the government to expel Israel's ambassador in Egypt, in the wake of reports that Egyptian soldiers whose remains were found in northern Sinai had been executed by Israeli soldiers in the Six Day War of 1967.

The remains were found recently, about 10 kilometers from Rafah, on the Egypt-Gaza border.

Voice of Israel radio reported the affair is causing public uproar in Egypt.
