The Islamic Jihad terror organization has claimed responsibility for today's attempted murder of IDF soldiers near the destroyed Jewish town of Nisanit in northern Gaza.

IDF troops returned fire at two Arabs who approached an army installation Monday morning near the Erez Crossing. IDF sources say the terrorists were walking holding hands, in order to appear to be a civilian couple, and opened fire on Israeli soldiers as they approached the encampment. Both terrorists were killed.
