A Brain Base (Ma'agar Mochot) poll has revealed that between 79 and 90 percent of Israeli Jews want an undivided Jerusalem and an end to terror and incitement as conditions for a peace agreement with the Palestinian Authority (PA).
The Olmert administration has bypassed the initial phase of the American Roadmap plan and is aiming at determining final borders for a new Arab state before the PA ends incitement and terror. The government also is promoting ceding parts of Jerusalem to the PA, which wants to make Jerusalem its capital.
Prime Minister Olmert stated this week that he would not give up sovereignty over the Temple Mount, but several countries are promoting the idea that the capital's religious sites be administered under international supervision.
