Hamas terrorists met in Gaza on Monday to hold a meeting in protest of the Annapolis conference.  The group signed a document insisting on the “right of return” for millions of foreign Arabs and claiming “the territories from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea” for “the Palestinian people” and “all Muslims everywhere.”

Hamas leaders stressed that Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, who is attending Annapolis on behalf of the PA, does not represent Hamas or its supporters.  “Any agreements reached will obligate only those who signed on them,” the group said.  Hamas beat Abbas’s Fatah group to take control of Gaza earlier in the year, and has warned that it is capable of taking over Judea and Samaria as well.
