Annapolis Puts Police on High Alert

Maj.-Gen. Bertie Ochaion, chief of the Police's Operations Department, has put the police on highest alert because of the Annapolis summit. Activity will be centered on the "seam line" between pre- and post-1967 Israel, and on the Jerusalem perimeter.

Security forces currently have specific intelligence alerts on ten terror operations that the Arabs are planning and dozens of other, more general intelligence alerts.

The alerts are mostly for suicide attacks, shooting attacks, rocket fire and abductions.
