(IsraelNN.com) The Department of Homeland Security in the United States has issued a warning in advance of the Annapolis summit, saying both Annapolis and Washington are on high alert due to the potential for terrorist attacks.  According to Channel 10, US officials have asked the public to be alert and look out for suspicious activity.

IDF officials are on high alert as well due to Hamas threats to increase attacks on Israelis before the conference.  Over the past several days soldiers have searched for tunnels near the Gaza security fence.  Officials fear that terrorists could infiltrate the western Negev via a tunnel and carry out an attack.
