The Quartet's Middle East negotiators plan to meet on Monday, one day before the planned Annapolis, Maryland conference. American Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is expected to lead the American delegation. Other members of the Quartet are Russia, the European Union (EU) and the United Nations.
U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will represent their countries and organizations in order to map out strategy before the Annapolis conference.
