Two brief, minor earthquakes that measured 3 and 4.5 on the Richter scale were reported Tuesday morning by the Geophysical Institute of Israel, who said they both originated in the northern area of the Dead Sea.
Israelis from Haifa to the northern Negev reported feeling the quiver, but Magen David Adolm reported no injuries or damage.
A quake three years ago measured 5.1 on the Richter scale and resulted in a number of injuries and damage.
