Bikers Raise $2.3 Million for Hospital
(IsraelNN.com) 610 bikers raised over $2.3 million for the Alyn Pediatric and Adolescent Rehabilitation Hospital over the past week as part of the annual “Wheels of Love” bike-a-thon. Bikers rode from Tiberias to Jerusalem. Each rider was given one patient’s profile and photograph as motivation, and met “their” patient in a closing ceremony at the hospital.
The Alyn hospital treats children with a variety of physical disabilities. The hospital is not sponsored by the government.
