Former Chief Sephardic Rabbi and Shas spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef called Prime Minister Ehud Olmert Tuesday in order to wish him a speedy recovery from his cancer.
The rabbi told Olmert that he blesses him and will pray on his behalf. Shas MK Eli Yishai also took part in the phone conversation.
PM Olmert announced Monday that he has a tumor in his prostate.
