The diplomatic conference aimed at solving the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) is scheduled to open on November 26th in Annapolis, Maryland, Israeli sources told the daily Ha'aretz.

The sources said that Israel and the PA will formulate a joint declaration before the conference which may touch upon the "core issues" of a final status accord, but will only do so vaguely and only on issues which are not in contention.

According to the report, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and PA leader Mahmoud Abbas agreed in their meeting Wednesday that negotiations regarding permanent status would not be limited by a timetable.
