The British National Union of Journalists has cancelled a planned boycott of Israeli products following widespread criticism from colleagues in other countries. Instead, the organization called on members "to unite behind the union’s key workplace priorities."
Other British unions have continued boycott efforts, but several e-mail campaigns have noted that banning Israeli products would leave people without computers, cell phones and prescription drugs.
