MK Feiglin: Badr Brigade Will Fight Jews

MK Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the Likud party’s “Manhigut Yehudit” (Jewish Leadership) faction, said Tuesday that Israel should not allow the Jordanian Badr Brigade to enter Judea and Samaria. The brigade will fight Jews, Feiglin said, not terrorism. Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu has come out in support of the plan, which he said will create law and order in the area.

Feiglin accused supporters of the plan of having “run to bring Arafat here from Tunis to protect us.” “They can’t free us from the Oslo madness,” he said, “and now they are trying to drag us further down the same slope.” If the brigade is allowed in, he said, it will unite Arabs “on both sides of the Jordan” under Hamas leadership.
