About 300 leftist activists from the 'Peace Now' group held a protest in Hevron Tuesday morning, to mark the 40th anniversary of the IDF's entry into the City of the Forefathers. The leftists held signs saying "Yes to Peace, No to Occupation" and calling for the destruction of Kiryat Arba.

Several dozen Jewish residents of Hevron held a quiet counter-demonstration and held signs like "Traitors – We Are Tired of You".
