Spanish Clothing Firm Apologizes for 'Shatnez'

One of the most popular clothing companies in Israel has advertised apologizes in several orthodox publications for selling clothes containing shatnez, a Biblically-prohibited mixture of wool and linen.

The Spanish-based Zara company stated, "Zara regrets its error and reassures its clients in Israel, in particular Orthodox ones, that it will do everything possible that such an incident will not happen again." The firm has 15 stores in Israel.
