Striking students and police clashed again Wednesday in Tel Aviv. Students demonstrating in the vicinity of Tel Aviv University tried to block Ayalon Highway but the police prevented this and arrested 32 demonstrators.
Students claim the police used excessive force and violence. Three students were lightly injured. The students began dispersing in the afternoon.
Thousands of students burned tires on the corner of Levanon and Einstein streets, and on university rooftops. About 800 policemen prevented the students from marching in Ramat Aviv. "My pants are full of the blood of a student whose head was cracked," said Netanel Izak of the Emek Yisrael College Student Association.
