Security forces intend to try and convince the residents of Peace House in Hevron to leave the house by April 18th at the latest, and will use force to evict them if they remain there at that date.
According to NRG-Maariv, a meeting was held Thursday by activists in Hevron, including well known figures like Itamar Ben Gvir and Baruch Marzel. Marzel is quoted as saying "what happened at Amona will be child's play compared to what happens here." Ben Gvir supposedly agreed and said "we need to decide that this time there will be no agreements and no compromises. Only by struggling will we win."
Other speakers said the leadership of the Jewish community in Hevron must not repeat the mistake it made when it agreed to leave homes in the Hevron Wholesale Market, based on promises the IDF made and did not keep.
