(IsraelNN.com) Hungarian Minister of Education and Culture Dr. Istvan Hiller visited the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial in Jerusalem on Monday where he signed an agreement of cooperation between the Hungarian Education Ministry and Yad Vashem.
The agreement outlines plans for continued cooperation between Yad Vashem and Hungary in planning and holding seminars for Hungarian educators in Israel and in Budapest, run by members of Yad Vashem’s European Department, The ICHEIC Program for Holocaust Education in Europe.
It also includes proposals for a special conference in Hungary for graduates of previous seminars for Hungarian educators held at Yad Vashem over the past decade.
