(IsraelNN.com) Minister of Science, Culture & Sport (Labor) Ophir Pines earlier on Monday announced his decision to resign from the cabinet.



Pines stated he was saddened by the central committee’s decision to remain in the coalition, stating he is left with no other alternative but to resign his ministerial post in protest over the coalition deal with Yisrael Beitenu.



Pines stated that the inclusion of the right-wing party introduces racism into the government.
