(IsraelNN.com) Beginning Sunday, the monthly minimum wage for an employee working a full time job (186 Hours) in Israel has been raised slightly to 3,457 shekels, or 18.54 shekels per hour.



Also, employees who pay their own transportation to work must be reimbursed by their employers for this expense up to either a maximum of 20.76 shekels per day or for the monthly cost of a travel card.



Workers working on the Sabbath must be paid 50% more than their usual hourly wage.
