A few hours later, 100 Jewish visitors visited the house of the family of 18-month-old Ali, who died tragically when suspected "Jewish arsonists" set two homes in the village on fire. The Jewish visitors to the family were organized by the group Tag Meir (Tag of Light) that opposes "anti-Arab racism".
Unfortunately, I can not recall Arabs flocking to console the families of Israelis killed by Arabs in shootings, stabbings and hit and runs over the past year, when terror turned routine.
How many hundreds of Palestinian Arabs came to show sympathy to the parents of Gilad, Eyal and Naphtali last year? None.
I don't recall the Palestinian Arab imams who prayed for little Adele Biton, who died of pneumonia after suffering massive neurological damage from a rock that hit her while in her mother's car, and for the hundreds of other Jewish children massacred or wounded by Arab terrorists.
How many hundreds of Palestinian Arabs came to show sympathy to the parents of Gilad, Eyal and Naphtali last year? None.
Don't be fooled: there is something sick in this Israeli secular left Yom Kippur. It’s a self-perpetuating process that began when Yitzhak Rabin called Ofra Felix, a wonderful Israeli girl killed by the terrorists in 1995, “a victim of the peace process”. A victim of the Israeli noble attempt to make peace with enemies? Why are there victims if it is a peace process? Such an insane mentality. And Ofra was "a settler".
This is the first and most basic difference between the antagonists in the war of civilizations in the Middle East: Arabs cheer at murdered Jews and Jews weep over killed Arabs.
But there is another difference: Palestinian Arabs killed hundreds of Jewish children and infants in cold blood and the world forgave them, the Jews might - just might - have killed one Muslim child and the world will never forgive them.
