After failing to reach a compromise, the Supreme Court has issued an order for Justice Minister Yariv Levin to convene the Judicial Selection Committee and allow a vote that would lead to the appointment of a permanent Supreme Court President. Levin: ' I will not be able to work with a president who is appointed illegally by their friends and is illegitimate in the eyes of the public.
