Following an outcry and protest, the Nukhba terrorist who was hospitalized at Hadassah Mount Scopus Medical Center in Jerusalem has been removed from the civilian hospital and transferred to a military facility for further treatment.

The Health Ministry stated that the terrorist was taken to the Sde Teiman field hospital following the protest this morning (Wednesday). "We will not allow terrorists to enter hospitals in Israel. That's why a dedicated military facility was established in Sde Teiman field that has treated and continues to treat them even now," the ministry stated.

Shiran Mirzai, a member of the Maaleh Adumim Council who organized the protest, said, "We succeeded!!!! From the second I received the message about a Nukhba terrorist on Mount Scopus I did not stop for a moment. I am happy to inform you that at this very moment, the Nukhba terrorist was flown out of Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital!!!! He is being transferred to a medical facility in Sde Teiman."

Hadassah Hospital stated: "Every security detainee treated in Israel's hospitals is brought under the responsibility and decision of the Health Ministry, the security forces or the IDF. Hadassah is not updated on the details of the arrest and circumstances of this or that detainee and is certainly not a party at all regarding the decision of where he will be treated."

Bereaved father Herzi Hajaj, whose daughter Shir was murdered in a 2017 ramming attack, participated in the protest against the terrorist's presence at the hospital Wednesday morning.

Hajaj was blocked by Border Police officers, but the activists who were with him said that even though the officers blocked his entry to the department, they treated him with respect.
