The Turkish terrorist organization IHH, which cooperates with Hamas on the basis of ideology, was recently observed distributing humanitarian aid in the heart of the fighting in Gaza. Last week, the organization distributed large sums of money to Gazan residents staying in Jerusalem's Arab neighborhoods.
The IHH, a radical, jihadist and pro-Hamas Islamic organization, has a history of assisting the global jihad organizations, which in recent years has been assisting the Hamas movement in Gaza, Judea, and Samaria. One of the organization's activities was the transport of the Marmara flotilla. The IHH is defined in Israel and other countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, and the United States as a terrorist organization.
A statement published by the organization claimed: "We have provided cash assistance to needy families of Gaza who are in Jerusalem and cannot return to Gaza because of the war."
The activity of distributing the funds is an act of da'wa, or proselytization, done to "train the hearts" according to the Islamic religion, which harms Israeli sovereignty in the Arab areas of Jerusalem, especially because the IHH is defined in Israel as a terrorist organization.
The chairman of the Lach Yerushalayim organization, Maor Tzemach, said: "There is no red line that Turkey has not crossed in supporting Hamas and the axis of evil. The activities of the terrorist organization IHH in Jerusalem and its complete support for Hamas obligate the decision makers to act decisively and immediately close all Turkish associations and institutions working in Jerusalem with the aim of undermining Israel's sovereignty and training the hearts (da'wa) for the terrorist activities of Hamas in the east of the city."
Following his words, Im Tirtzu chairman Matan Peleg added: "The IHH organization is a terrorist organization and Turkey is an enemy country. It is time for the State of Israel to wake up and start behaving accordingly. We must immediately kick out and expel the Turkish ambassador and all of IHH followers operating in Israel."
