Three students have been suspended from a school in Ashdod after they dressed up as terrorists and entered their classroom wearing the costume, the southern district of the Ministry of Education announced on Wednesday.

The students, inspired by a “TikTok” challenge, put on black garbage bags, wore keffiyehs on their heads and held plastic guns. They entered one of the classrooms and encountered several members of the educational staff who demanded that they take off their costumes.

The boys ran away from the school and were suspended for ten days.

The Ministry of Education stated, "This is a serious incident, as a result of which the three students involved were suspended for ten school days. In addition, they were assigned an educational task on the topic, dealing with the devastating consequences of involvement in pranks of this kind."
