Following a series of tests, Rabbi Meir Mazuz, 78, was released from the hospital on Tuesday morning.

Rabbi Mazuz, who heads the Kisei Rahamim Yeshiva, was evacuated Monday evening to the Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center in Bnei Brak after feeling unwell.

Sources close to Rabbi Mazuz request that the public continue praying for the recovery of Rabbi Meir Nissim, the son of Kamsana, among the other ill of Israel.

In his weekly Torah class, Rabbi Mazuz told his students that he is suffering from difficult tribulations. He blessed them, "May you not know such things and not be familiar with them."

He explained, "When I come to a class in the yeshiva I am wiped, but in the class is a new world, as if I received a new soul, because the Torah brings joy. I suffer hardships which you should not know and not be familiar with... When you learn the [Torah] class, it is alive and it breathes life into you."
