Kan News reports that due to the riots by Israeli youth in the Palestinian Arab city of Turmus Aya, which included torching vehicles, buildings, and agricultural areas, the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) will recommend to Defense Minister Yoav Gallant to sign administrative arrest warrants against those suspected of involvement in the incident.

After the riots in Huwara four months ago, administrative arrest warrants were issued for those involved, and the Shin Bet claims that the move brought calm to the region.

Dozens of Jews, some with masks, raided the Palestinian Arab village on Wednesday afternoon and set houses and vehicles on fire. The attack came shortly after the funeral of one of the victims of the deadly shooting attack at Eli Junction.

Significant Israeli security forces were rushed to the area. Upon their arrival, the rioters fled. A security source estimated that 15 houses and 20 vehicles were damaged in all. There were no Palestinian Arab casualties.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on the events and said: "There are days when you have to say the obvious - the State of Israel is a state of law. All citizens of Israel are obliged to respect the law. We will not accept riots either in the Golan Heights or in Judea and Samaria. I give full support to the Israel Police and the security forces in their action to impose the law and order. We will not accept any challenge against the police and against the security forces in these places or anywhere else. We are a country of law."
