More than one hundred Arabs have been murdered in Israel since the beginning of 2023.
Watek Kashkush, a 28-year-old nursing student from Qalansawe, was murdered Saturday in the city. Kashkush was taken to the Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead.
On his Tiktok page, Kashkush posted that he was looking for a job in nursing. "I am a nurse by profession, watching over people, giving companionship and support to the hospitalized," he wrote, noting that he works in hospitals and rehabilitation centers.
MDA paramedic Jiris Elias recounts: "When we arrived at the scene, we saw a young man unconscious, with no pulse and not breathing, with very serious penetrating injuries in his body. We immediately began to give him medical treatment that included compressions, rescue breathing, and stopping bleeding. We put him in the intensive care vehicle and quickly evacuated him to a hospital while continuing CPR. He was immediately listed as in critical condition." He was later declared dead in Meir Hospital.
On Thursday, five people were murdered in Yafa an-Naseriyye, a suburb of Nazareth, in the deadliest criminal murder spree in the country since 2009. Hours later, a 31-year-old man from Jaljulia was murdered on Route 5, near Qassem Interchange.
Sarit Ahmed, 18, was murdered on Friday in Western Galilee. Her brothers, who had threatened her, received a light sentence for their crimes, and she fled to a sheltered housing location, but was found nevertheless. A young man from the Bedouin community was stabbed to death in a confrontation with foreign workers on an agricultural farm in the Negev.
