A Border Police officer was documented on Wednesday evening slapping a haredi man who participated in demonstrations against construction on the Light Rail, which were held on Bar Ilan Street in Jerusalem.
The footage shows the officer slapping the protester without justifiable reason.
The demonstrations in Jerusalem by extremist elements have subsided in recent months, but have been renewed in recent days.
The police rushed to the scene of the demonstration and clashes immediately began between the officers and the demonstrators.
One of the demonstrators was injured and received treatment by paramedics.
The police have not yet commented on the incident.
