Moshe Yisrael, an eyewitness to the ramming attack near Jerusalem's Mahane Yehuda market this afternoon (Monday), described the scene to Israel National News - Arutz Sheva.
"I was in the middle of giving change to a customer when suddenly I heard the vehicle coming really fast. I looked and saw how it threw four people in the air and within a few seconds people literally started screaming. They didn't know what to do, whether to go to the injured or run away from what looked like a terrorist attack," Yisrael said.
The attack occurred about 60 yards from his shop.
"It seemed very strange to me because the man didn't look like a terrorist. I heard shots and shouted: 'Don't shoot! Make sure it's not an accident before you shoot! I also looked at the driver, he looked really shaken, he didn't move and didn't try to keep running over people." he added.
Five people were injured in the attack, one seriously. The terrorist was neutralized.
