Four yeshiva students have been injured by a bus in the parking lot of Jordan River Rafting, after the bus began to roll and hit them.
Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics treated the four youths, who are all approximately 19 years old. Two of the young men were moderately injured, while the other two were lightly injured. They have been evacuated to a hospital for further treatment.
Initial investigations by Israel Police show that the bus driver accidentally hit the four. Police added that the driver himself was evacuated to the hospital, and that it is suspected that he was attacked by civilians at the scene after he hit the yeshiva students.
MDA paramedic Yisrael Yehuda said, "When we arrived at the scene, there was a lot of chaos and a lot of tourists. We saw a bus and nearby were four young people who were injured, aged about 19, who had been hiking at the scene. They were fully conscious and suffered injuries. We brought them into the ambulances and evacuated them to the hospital, with two of them in moderate condition and the other two in light condition.""
Moshe Fordsham, a senior United Hatzalah paramedic, added, "I arrived at the scene within a few seconds, I provided aid to two youths who were moderately injured, and three youths who were lightly injured. They had suffered injuries to their limbs, after the bus hit them. In addition, we provided aid at the scene to a number of people who had suffered shock."
