Israel Police released footage Wednesday afternoon taken from the helmet cameras of officers in the Yamam special forces unit during Tuesday's operation in Jenin, in which Abd al-Fattah Hussein Ibrahim Gharusha, the Hamas terrorist who shot and killed 21-year-old Hallel Yaniv and 19-year-old Yagel Yaniv, was eliminated.
In the video footage, the officers can be seen approaching Gharusha's hiding place in Jenin.
During the arrest operation, which targeted Gharusha and several other wanted terrorists, a gun battle erupted, during which Gharusha and at least five other terrorists were eliminated.
In addition to automatic gunfire, the Israeli forces deployed to Jenin Tuesday used shoulder-fired missiles and other weapons against the building in which Gharusha was holed up.
Several armed terrorists were spotted using an ambulance to flee the building.
Two IDF drones were downed during the operation.
