Police are currently conducting searches near the Ahihud Junction in the western Galilee after receiving a call from an Israeli Arab man who said that his brother was planning to commit a terrorist attack.
The man had called the police hotline and said that his brother had left the house with the intention of carrying out an attack.
The police stated that "the public is asked to be vigilant and report any suspicious person or vehicle to the police."
A security officer of the Mateh Asher Regional Council informed residents that "due to a report received about an illegal resident from the Shu'afat area, searches by police forces, including a helicopter, are being carried out in the Ahihud area. Currently, the searches are focused on the Ahihud Forest."
