IDF soldiers, as well as Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and Border Police officers worked overnight Tuesday in the Palestinian Arab town of Hares to map the home of the terrorist who murdered three Israeli citizens and wounded three others in Tuesday’s attack near the Ariel industrial area.

The mapping was carried out for the purpose of examining the possibility of demolishing the home, according to the decisions that will be made.

The three victims in Tuesday’s attack are Tamir Avichai, 50, a resident of Kiryat Netafim and a father of six children; Michael Ledigin, 36, a resident of Bat Yam who made Aliyah to Israel with his family five years ago, and Motti Ashkenazi, 59, a resident of Yavne who worked for the Amisragas gas company as a supplier to the Samaria region.

Earlier, the United States condemned the terrorist attack near Ariel.

The statement by US State Department spokesperson Ned Price also expressed condolences to families of Palestinian Arabs who were killed and called on all side to prevent more deaths.

“The United States is deeply concerned by the increased violence in the West Bank. We convey profound condolences to the families and loved ones of the Israeli and Palestinian civilians, including children, who have been killed in the past 48 hours,” said Price.

“We strongly condemn today’s terrorist attack, which killed three Israelis and wounded three others. The recent period has seen a sharp and alarming increase in Palestinian and Israeli deaths and injuries, including numerous children. It is vital that the parties take urgent action to prevent further loss of life,” he added.
