Israel's Health Ministry reported that 1,360 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed since Friday, when the results of 25,265 tests were received.
The new cases bring the total number of Israelis diagnosed with coronavirus to 37,464.
Currently, Israel has 18,296 active cases of coronavirus, 134 of whom are in serious condition. Forty-nine patients are on ventilators, and 354 have died of coronavirus, including one in the past day.
A report published Saturday morning by the World Health Organization ranked Israel third in the list of European countries with the highest number of daily cases diagnosed, after Russia and Kazakhstan.
Following Israel are Turkey, with 1,024 cases; Ukraine with 819; Britain with 642 new cases daily, and Romania with 614 new cases daily.
