After George Floyd died, while being arrested by the police in Minneapolis, Minnesota, protests and riots broke out across America and in various other countries.

George Floyd did not deserve to die, even if he was guilty of the offense for which he was allegedly arrested: Trying to spend counterfeit money.

There is not a single person in America, regardless of race or political affiliation, who did not think that the video of a policeman’s knee on the neck of George Floyd for almost nine minutes was absolutely horrifying. Everyone from Trump down rebuked it.

But the issue is no longer about systemic racism or police reform. It is about anarchy.

The riots have been hijacked by Black Lives Matter (BLM), an anti-American, anti-capitalism and anti-Semitic movement.

BLM leaders posted their beliefs in abolishing the police, overthrowing capitalism, labeling Israel a “colonial, apartheid regime” and calling for boycotts, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israel.

BLM began in 2013 after the acquittal of George Zimmerman in the shooting death of a black teenager, Trayvon Martin, in February 2012, and became nationally recognized in 2014 for street demonstrations, after the deaths of two blacks: Michael Brown, resulting in protests and riots in Ferguson, Missouri; and Eric Garner in New York City.

After BLM led riots in Ferguson and elsewhere, President Barack Obama hosted BLM members at the White House in February 2016 and praised them profusely. He said: “They are much better organizers than I was when I was their age, and I am confident that they are going to take America to new heights.”

When BLM first published its charter in August 2016, Jewish organizations condemned its slanderous accusation that Israel is committing “genocide” and is an “apartheid” regime with discriminatory laws against Palestinians. The charter stated: “The U.S. justifies and advances the global war on terror via its alliance with Israel and is complicit in the genocide taking place against the Palestinian people.” The charter committed BLM to the anti-Semitic BDS campaign against Israel and its American Jewish supporters.

BLM’s hatred of Israel and Jews is integral to its hatred of America. Its charter asserted that “America is an empire that uses war to expand territory and power,” and calls for slashing 50% off the US military budget, followed by a demand to end military support for Israel.

In May 2020, during the Jewish festival of Shavuot, BLM members carried out attacks in Fairfax, the oldest Jewish community in Los Angeles, largely populated today by haredi Jews. They vandalized five synagogues and three Jewish schools, and looted most of the Jewish businesses on Fairfax Avenue.

The Jerusalem Post reported that Aryeh Rosenfeld, a store owner whose store was looted, said that while trying to defend his store, there were people driving through the streets screaming, “F**king Jews,” at the Jewish store owners.

According to other accounts of the attacks, BLM members chanted, “F**k the police and kill the Jews.”

The anti-Semitic BLM has begun to dominate American left-wing politics, which is becoming increasingly problematic for the relationship between American Jews and the American left.

During the May 2020 attacks, apart from a few Jewish reporters and Orthodox websites, the mainstream media largely ignored the attacks. When they were reported, the deliberately antisemitic character of the attacks was essentially ignored.

Identity politics now dominate the left in America, and BLM controls identity politics; thus, the reluctance of the mainstream media to report the attacks properly.

The low-key responses the Shavuot attacks generated from the Jewish community is disconcerting. The Anti-Defamation League’s Los Angeles office issued a perfunctory statement;

The low-key responses the Shavuot attacks generated from the Jewish community is disconcerting. The Anti-Defamation League’s Los Angeles office issued a perfunctory statement; however, the Jewish organization that proclaims itself essential for calling out and fighting antisemitism largely kept quiet.

The Conservative and Reform movements in Los Angeles also kept silent. Even the ultra-modern Open Orthodox communities in Los Angeles failed to condemn the attacks on their haredi neighbors.

Modern Open Orthodox Jews reportedly refused to condemn the BLM rioters, though they quickly removed their Torah scrolls from their synagogues to protect them from possible looters, while their leaders told their members to express solidarity with the BLM rioters and atone for their own imagined racist crimes. Only the traditional Modern Orthodox and Haredim cheered the police who stopped the riots from spreading, and thanked them.

The silence of Los Angeles Jews and national Jewish organizations during and after the attacks is not unique. In New York, Jews have marched against anti-black racism while their communities have been subjected to repeated antisemitic assaults by their black neighbors. New York Jews generally fail to condemn Mayor Bill DeBlasio despite his repeated acts of antisemitic targeting and discrimination.

Furthermore, large liberal Jewish organizations and liberal synagogues are openly supporting BLM.

American Jews are not adequately dealing with BLM’s antisemitism. Moreover, radical Jewish groups now demand that American Jews should support these antisemites and embracing their antisemitic agenda.

Recently, a group of far-left American Jewish groups published an open letter demanding that American Jews pledge allegiance to a “new covenant” based on seven new principles, the first of which is: “Explicit endorsement that Black Lives Matter. Recognizing that Black Lives Matter is a statement that is inherently true and should be accepted without caveat or qualification.”

The remaining six principles extrapolate the first.

Trump's campaign slogan should be: Preserving America's Greatness Again — PAGA.

Sadly, Hillel International, the Reconstructionist movement, the San Francisco Jewish Federation, etc., have indicated support for the antisemitic and anti-Israel “new covenant.”

When Trump came into office, the first step he took to make clear to all that America would no longer be abandoning its interests and its allies was to stand with Israel. This was not done to rally his evangelical base, as his haters claimed. It was a strategic move.

The strength of America’s alliance with Israel is a reflection of the strength of American power. Foreign policy establishment worldwide deem Israel as evil. But Israel has the same interests and values as America; a strong Israel serves as an extension of American power in the Middle East. So Trump’s reversal of Obama’s hostile policies towards Israel caught the world’s attention: making China, Iran, etc., recognize that Trump was adopting policies that would be good for America and bad for its enemies; and making America’s spurned allies realize America could be trusted again.

Prior to the outbreak of the Wuhan virus, voters were leaning to reelect President Trump, and could still elect him, mostly for the economy with historical records in incomes and jobs for blacks, Hispanics and others. The Democrat left-wing primary agenda, from the New Green Deal to reparations, and Joe Biden’s cognitive impairment frighten voters.

Then came the virus, the lockdown, the recession, and the present BLM-led anarchy of arson, looting, statue toppling, cancel culture, name-changing, etc. Biden, who is cognitively impaired and hiding in his basement, rose in the polls.

Trump may feel pressured to join Biden, who would not stand against erasing America’s history, abolishing the police, overthrowing capitalism, labeling Israel a “colonial, apartheid regime” and calling for BDS against Israel. Whereas, preserving America should be the focus of the Trump 2020 election campaign: preserving liberty, upholding the rule of law and law-enforcement officers, strengthening capitalism, promising to keep protecting the vulnerable of all races and classes, defending America’s interests, restoring a great nation and supporting America’s allies.

The former would be socialism and the end of America as we know it; the latter, victory. And his campaign slogan should be: Preserving America's Greatness Again — PAGA.

For over 40 years, murderous ayatollahs and other jihadists have been chanting their desire to see the death of America. Now that mobs in America are rioting, looting and destroying monuments of great historical significance, and statues of Presidents George Washington, William Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant and Theodore Roosevelt have been desecrated, vandalized, toppled and smashed, while elected Democrats kowtow to the mobs, pledging to implement their anti-America agenda.

Many Americans have essentially taken up the chants of the ayatollahs: Death to America!

The vital question for American voters on the November ballot is essentially this:
America: Yes or No?
